We are a parish church in the Church of England diocese of Blackburn. This means that all our licensed ministers declare their belief in the faith which is revealed in the Holy Scriptures and set forth in the catholic creeds and to which the historic formularies of the Church of England bear witness (i.e. the 39 Articles of Religion, the Book of Common Prayer and the Ordering of Bishops, Priests and Deacons).
We are an evangelical church.
We are members of the Evangelical Alliance and therefore affirm our agreement with their basis of faith.
