We meet for Morning Worship every Sunday at 10.30am and all are very welcome. Provision is made for children mostly through our Sunday Club or Pathfinder group but occasionally through activities provided for parents to supervise at the rear of the church. Please do join us for refreshments and chat in the church lounge after the service – just follow the crowd!
We celebrate Holy Communion on a Sunday at least once a month, our online church diary will show which type of morning service is coming up.
Other Services and Groups
Every week we have a Midweek Communion service at 10am on a Wednesday morning. This quieter, half an hour service, has no music and a short homily and is much valued by those who would like a short time of space and reflection in the middle of the week.
Also every week, we have Wednesday Night Worship (WNW) that starts at 8.30pm and usually lasts an hour. It is an informal opportunity to sing new worship songs, to explore a bible passage and pray together.
Our Causeway Group meets at 3pm on the last Sunday of the month. Causeway provides worship and fellowship for adults with learning difficulties and their carers. See the Causeway page for more details.
‘Messy Church‘ also meets monthly for worship, activities, food and FUN! See the ‘Messy Church‘ page for more details.
If you are thinking about a family wedding or baptism and would like St. John’s to be involved we would love to hear from you. Please contact Alistair, our Vicar, on 01772 621646, in the first instance for a chat, or come along and say hello on a Sunday morning.
